Mediterranean Waterfront
Greenwich, CT
The property where this newly constructed home was built is situated on a rocky part of the Greenwich coastline. The large neighboring homes also had the potential to obstruct the water views from this property. The architect rectified by designing two rectilinear volumes canted in the middle of the home utilizing the breakfast room and dining room as pivots to allow for unobstructed water views for most of the rooms. The homes fishing shack, that is cut into the waterfront ledge, is also a recipient of a 2017 HOBI-Award.
