English Country Home
Greenwich, CT
Winner of “New Residence” at the 2017 Institute of Classical Architecture & Art’s Stanford White Awards, this home was designed within the footprint of the existing residence. It is perfectly balanced in design, in authentic English Tradition, and has purposely been built and made to look aged, as though it has been sitting there for over 100 years with only recent renovations. The slate roof and copper gutter system complement the solid mahogany exterior trim and shutters. Constructed with cinder blocks and clad in handmade bricks, the house is a fortress.
